Working from home is a dream for many-but actually starting your own business is quite difficult.
What drives people to want to strike out on their own?

1. Build On Your Great Business Idea : You have come up with a great idea...you really believe in it...you
KNOW it will be successful. But you can not afford to rent out space, buy all of the office furnishings, pay
the overhead, etc...this could be the time to work the idea from home.

2. Turn Your Hobby Into A Career : Most people have at least one thing they are apssionate about, and
could do all of the time, if they had the chance. Getting paid for doing what you love is very appealing.
Just remember that if the business fails, you may end up hating that once-object-of-your-affection.

3. Tired Of Your Boss : It seems like almost every employee hates their boss. They act like your friend,
but you know better...you end up being forced to adhere to their deadlines, their ideas and their scrutiny!!
Of course, being your own boss requires a lot of self-discipline and will-power - - do you have it?!?

4. Spend More Time With Your Family : Sometimes you feel like all you do is go to work, come home,
sit around because you are too tired to have any fun with your family. This is especially true if you have
children - they are growing up SO fast, and you feel like your missing it all because you have to go to work!
Again, you need to take care not to spend too much time with family...like when you should be working on
your business. Be sure to "go to work" if you have a home office, making sure the family knows it is "work
ime" not "play time."

5. Wasting Time (and money) Commuting : If you worked from home, think of the time and $$$ you
would save...

As you look forward to your entrepreneurial endeavor(s), remember to always be upbeat and positive,
always be ready to meet potential customers, and most-importantly HAVE FUN!! If you can't have fun
promoting and performing your business, you might as well continue to work for someone else.
